**The Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Production Management**: Take full responsibility for supervising and managing production processes to meet set targets, ensuring smooth production workflows and timely delivery of products.
- ** Quality Control**: Ensure that the products produced meet the company's quality standards and adhere to the established quality systems, processes, and procedures.
- ** Team Leadership**: Manage, develop, and motivate the direct reporting staff/workmen, ensuring their productivity, safety, and continuous improvement.
- ** Performance Monitoring**: Monitor, measure, and report on production-related performance, identifying and resolving issues to maintain operational efficiency.
- ** Health and Safety Compliance**: Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations during production shifts, fostering a safe working environment.
- ** Problem-Solving**: Utilize troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to help the team identify root causes of issues and implement effective corrective actions.
- ** Continuous Improvement**: Actively contribute to the company's continuous improvement plan, identifying areas for growth and innovation to support the company’s future success.
- ** Housekeeping Standards**: Maintain high housekeeping standards to ensure a clean, organized, and safe workplace for all employees.

**Profile**:

- ** Qualifications**: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or B.Tech (Mechanical).
- ** Experience**: 4 to 6 years of experience in production, preferably within the retail industry.
- ** Skills**: Excellent presentation, spoken, and written communication skills.
- ** Knowledge**: Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality standards and practices.
- ** Attributes**: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills. A proactive approach to improving production processes.

**Desired Experience**:

- 4 to 6 years of experience in a production role, with a focus on quality and team management in the retail furntiture manufacturing industry.
