Qualification : B.P.Ed and M.Ed

Experience : 5 to 8 years

Notice Period : 1 month

Job Description of Sports Coordinator
- A SPA Coordinators role calls for being a leader, mentor, trainer and administrator in order to align and fulfill the functional goals to achieve the Vision of the organisation.
- Prepare and receive approval of the SPA Year Plan along with the budget.
- Ensure equipment availability to the Coaches for use and confirm their return.
- Ensure monthly stock taking.
- Responsible for curriculum materials provided by the Central Office.
- Maintain details and records of updated versions and further instructions regarding the curriculum sent by CO and update them regularly
- Administration Related
- List of SPA Activities in practice
- Student Strength
- Equipment
- School Team details
- Details of Camps and Competitions
- Participation in inter school activities and achievements
- Record and keep a track of stock held and required at Centres
- All accountable documents to be maintained for requisite number of years as per statutory / School requirements
- SPA Coordinator alongwith the Centre Head to ensure Implementation of HR Policies and Processes as per guidelines of the CO in relation to Appraisal, Induction, Recruitments, Transfers, joining and Exit
- Curriculum Implementation
- Drafting of Circulars
- Plan and coordinate for various competitions, tournaments and camps as per guidelines
- Maintenance of Records
- SPA Area Maintenance
- Student Development
- Coaches Administration
- To follow the SPA Curriculum in its totality and make the program fun and include much variety. If you include training that will take your athletes off campus, be sure to obtain permission from your school administration.
- Meet with your coaching staff to discuss overall coaching philosophy, season goals, coaching and administrative responsibilities, team and school policies, safety guidelines, and emergency medical procedures.
- Review the previous years team roster to determine the number of players you expect to continue and the positions that need to be filled. Schedule dates for tryouts (if need arise)
- Look into tournaments in which your team may play.
