**Position Overview**:
Boeing Global Services Supplier Management Team is currently looking for an **Associate Procurement Agent** to join their team in** Bangalore, India.** This team seeks a highly-skilled and motivated individual.

This is an individual contributor position in a growing global organization. The individual will partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure material availability while ensuring service delivery excellence to all business partners.

**Position Responsibilities**:
The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Oversee Purchasing Activities in the Area of Direct Materials and ensure purchased items are both cost effective and of high quality
- Drive and Monitor towards Closures for RFQs to Approved Vendors
- Responsible for Timely Receipt of Materials, Expedites & Supplier management and improve supplier performance in terms of On-Time-Delivery
- Expedite Customer and Supplier Past Due line items and improve recovery
- Drive continuous improvement projects with supplier
- Ownership towards Supplier Payments, Stock Transfer Orders, Return to Vendors and Return Material Authorization
- Find opportunities for cost savings in terms of including non contracted parts into spares contract to gain cost advantage
- Where applicable, liaise with Boeing Commercial Airplane Contract PA for resolving contract issues related to price, MOQ, Lead time
- Tracking and Reporting Key Functional Metrics to improve Process Effectiveness
- Partnering with Stakeholders to Ensure Clear Requirements Documentation
- Fostering Relationship with Primary Vendors and Strategize Procurement
- Quality of Reporting in Terms of Data Accuracy and Drive Hygiene in SAP
- Promote Process Efficiencies through Automated Channels where Applicable
- Communicating and Negotiating with Vendors and or Internal Stakeholders

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)**:

- 5-8 years of relevant work experience in Supply Chain
- PowerBI tool knowledge is must
- Hands on experience in Procure to Pay Process in SAP or equivalent environment
- Good written and oral communication skills in English
- Prior working experience in Aerospace Industry is preferred
- Analytical Skills
- Exposure to Global Business Interactive Environment
- Flexibility in Work hours due to Sites in Europe and US

**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)**:

- SAP Material Management
- Prior working experience in the Aerospace Industry is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering is preferred.

**Typical Education & Experience**:
Typically, 5-8 years related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (eg. bachelor, master, etc) preferred but not required.”
