1. Scrub procedure as assigned

2. Assist in work area in central sterile between scrub assignments prn.

3. Assist in keeping overall operating room clean and tidy

4. Inform control desk where you are at all times while on duty

5. Make sure room is cleaned, straightened and stocked before going off duty

6. When free, help in operating rooms by opening cases or helping with stocking

7. Follow medical ethics and communication etiquettes.

8. Knowledge and proper use of Surgery department equipment and instrumentation

9. Sterilization of equipments and instrumentations.

10. Participation in Continuous Quality Improvement.

11. To follow the Process Improvement programs and carry on Quality Initiatives in the department.

12. Ensure upkeep, safety & security of the hospital property

13. Understand & execute the duties as reliever to peers in case of leave, in addition to own.

14. Providing care to all patients of all ages inside the OR.

15. Check daily to keep abreast of new changes occurring in the operating room

16. Economical use of supplies

17. Handling and care of surgical instruments

18. Knowledge of fire and disaster procedure

19. Knowledge of cardiac arrest procedures

20. Location of fire alarms and fire extinguishers and fire hoses

**Salary**: ₹13,500.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
