We need an Intensivist for our Client (cardiac and medical ICU 12 12-bedded), for a 12-hour duty for 6 days a week with a qualification of MD/ DNB/DA anesthesia with preferably a fellowship in critical care medicine with at least 3 years of experience and well-versed in ventilator management and ICU procedures. Any calls attended during daytime or anesthesia standby for surgical procedures done or other procedures done during daytime would be paid separately

**Collaborative Responsibilities**:

- Multidisciplinary Team Leadership: Intensivists lead multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, respiratory therapists, and other specialists, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Communication with Families: Intensivists communicate with patients' families, providing updates on their loved ones' conditions, treatment options, and prognosis.
- Collaboration with Other Specialists: Intensivists work with other specialists, such as surgeons, cardiologists, and neurologists, to ensure seamless care transitions. **Administrative Responsibilities**:

- ICU Management: Intensivists often oversee ICU operations, including staffing, resource allocation, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Policy Development: Intensivists contribute to hospital policy development, focusing on critical care best practices, patient safety, and quality of care.
- Education and Training: Intensivists educate and train healthcare professionals, including residents, fellows, and nurses, on critical care principles and practices.

**Quality Improvement Responsibilities**:

- Quality Metrics Monitoring: Intensivists track and analyse quality metrics, such as ICU mortality rates, length of stay, and complications.
- Performance Improvement Initiatives: Intensivists lead or participate in performance improvement initiatives, aimed at enhancing patient outcomes, reducing errors, and optimizing resource utilization.
- Evidence-Based Practice Implementation: Intensivists promote the adoption of evidence-based practices, ensuring that critical care services are aligned with the latest scientific research and guidelines.

**SKILLS & QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE**
- MD / DNB / DA in Anaesthesiology
- Preferably with a Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine
- Minimum 3 years of experience in critical care or ICU settings
- Proficient in ventilator management
- Skilled in performing ICU procedures.

Pay: Up to ₹350,000.00 per month
