Atlassian Administration (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket) (P2 - India)

Engineers at Analog Devices (ADI) solve some of the world’s most complex engineering problems. To be able to do so with ease, they need access to the best design infrastructure that is available. We, the Engineering Enablement (EE) team at ADI aim to do just that; by building the infrastructure and support required by ADI’s design community. We come from diverse technical backgrounds and strive to provide the best user experience to design teams utilizing a full range of computer-aided design tools and workflows.

About the job

Key Responsibilities
- Advise users and teams on Atlassian related methodologies, best practices and workflows that enhance their development process
- Create FAQ pages pertaining to Atlassian related methodologies, best practices and workflows
- Develop automations that enhance user experience with the Atlassian tools and simplify ADI’s development lifecycle
- Develop integrations to Atlassian tool from 3rd party tools via API
- Help create documentation for Atlassian automations and customizations
- Help shape the Atlassian vision/roadmap in ADI and steer the delivery of products, platforms and features oriented around business impact
- Drive selection of and assessment of 3rd party plugins prior to user deployment
- Help drive bug fixes of Atlassian tools and 3rd party plugins
- Assist in upgrade planning, testing and implementation
- Plan resourcing for the team, create resourcing requests, interview, select and onboard members to join the team.

Required Qualifications and Experience
- BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent or related field preferred
- Expert level Atlassian tool administration knowledge on JIRA, Confluence and Bitbucket Data Center a must (project/space configuration, layouts, designs, workflows, issue types, custom fields, boards, permissions, reporting, dashboard, etc.)
- Experience working with JQL, Java, Groovy, and GIT
- Experience with development of API based integrations
- Experience with Atlassian plugin management
- Experience in performing Atlassian installations, upgrades, migrations

Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Experience with Atlassian Cloud
- Atlassian certificates (e.g., Jira Administration for Data Center and Server)
- Experience with ScriptRunner plugin
- Experience with Linux and the back-end management of the Atlassian tools
- Experience with Agile Methodologies an advantage
- For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
