Job Title: Salesperson

Reports to: Sales Manager

Job Summary:
The Salesperson is responsible for selling products or services to potential customers, identifying and generating leads, meeting sales targets, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to build relationships, and a thorough understanding of the company's products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.

Meet and exceed sales targets by effectively promoting and selling the company's products or services.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.

Provide customers with product information, demonstrations, and price quotations.

Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients.

Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-up actions in the CRM system.

Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.

Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to develop effective sales strategies.

Attend trade shows, conferences, and other events to promote the company's products and services.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.

Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Self-motivated and results-oriented.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of [industry/sector] and related products/services is a plus.

Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to travel as needed.

Must be able to lift and carry sales materials, product samples, and promotional items.

Work Environment:
Primarily office-based, with some travel required for client visits, meetings, and events.
