**Job Title**: Akamai Service Engineer
**Employment Type**: Contract
**Location**: Remote (Offshore)
**Experience Required**: 7+ Years
**Availability**: Immediate joiners preferred
**Time Zone Requirement**: Partial PST overlap (till 1 PM PST)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and maintain Akamai configurations for large-scale websites and enterprise platforms.
- Handle **Akamai change management** across multiple environments (test, staging, production).
- Proactively monitor and mitigate **DDoS and security threats**.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams on **project rollouts, CMS migrations**, and performance tuning.
- Support **aka.ms** and other domain hygiene and compliance-related tasks.
- Implement and troubleshoot advanced Akamai features like **EdgeWorkers**, **ESI**, etc.
- Utilize **Akamai APIs** for automation and reducing manual interventions.
- Act as **DRI** (Designated Responsible Individual) for Akamai services and incidents.
- Coordinate **holiday load testing** and manage peak traffic events in coordination with Akamai support.

**Required Skills**:

- Minimum **7 years of relevant experience** in Akamai and web delivery technologies
- Expertise in **Akamai Control Center**, **Akamai CLI/API**, and automation tools
- Strong knowledge of **security configurations**, **content caching**, and **traffic routing**:

- Hands-on experience with **DDoS protection strategies**, **SSL/TLS**, and **CDN best practices**:

- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

**Job Type**: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From ₹1,400,000.00 per month
