- Bangalore/Bengaluru**Roles and Responsibilities**

**You will be responsible for handling the end to end strategic curation,merchandising & sourcing from consignee vendors for the assigned department/category to achieve the strategic & financial objectives of the brand. Purchase Merchandising & sourcing operations for furniture and Home Decor products.**
**Vendor identification, product evaluation and selection and negotiating consignment terms**
- Understanding of International & domestic home dcor & lifestyle products.
- An eye & experience in curating ranges.
- Handling consignment model purchase, terms, agreements, cost & line sheets.
- To be the center of expertise of the product categories.
- Propose new products, develop categories, connect & get new vendors.
- Cognizance of sales patterns & customer preference.
- Reordering with vendors from existing catalogs.
- Working with & maintain strong relationships with vendors.
- On time delivery, shipment follow-up, payment follow up.
- Liaise & link between vendors, accounts for payments & terms.
- Addressing any quality issues with vendors. Solve issues regarding quality & damage during transit.
- ** Monitor store level sales & ensure that top lines are in line with targets.**:

- ** Follow-up with retail ops, warehouse**:

- Constant stock on hand reports with stores, warehouse, vendors.
- Co-ordinating with VM on displays
- Consignee payments & reconciliation.

**Logistics/Warehouse **:For Alignment of logístical activities for end to end execution and timely delivery of merchandise

**Designer **:For recommending/discussing product design (fabric, trim, colors) plan for the buying season

**Department/ Buying head**: For discussing department/category plans and it’s implementation

**Key vendors **:For maintaining key relationships and assist in the overall negotiation / renegotiation
