**Brief Description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Engineering of SA-related solutions for various project and operational needs
- Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements
- Install and configure systems for projects and clients
- Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
- Contribute to and maintain system standards and documentation
- Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify approaches that extend the business and promote new capabilities
- Optimise infrastructure solutions to ensure incident rates are reduced and continual service improvement is occurring

**Education / Experience**:

- ** 6 years or more relevant system administration experience at a minimum**:

- ** Associate level or higher education certification and evidence of experience in 2 or more of the following technologies**:
- ** Systems Administration/System Engineer experience in Linux, Unix or Windows**:

- ** Storage administration (Pure, NetApp, ZFS or similar - very desirable)**:

- ** Virtualization software experience (OVM/XEN or VMware - desirable)**:

- ** Cloud Administration Experience (OCI/Azure or AWS - desirable)**:

- ** Networking and firewall experience ( F5 load balancers, ASA, routing and switching, or other desirable but not essential)**:

- ** Hardware (servers, storage) is preferable**:

- ** ITIL Foundations Certification a plus**:
This role may require access to customer environments as a means of providing the necessary support to resolve an issue or inquiries into performance-related issues, or for periodic maintenance and management of the systems. In some instances, these environments may contain Personally Identifiable Information (PII) (e.g., such as HIPAA-related Personal Health Information - PHI) and Payment Card Information (PCI). Personnel are expected to adhere to the highest standards of ethics and professionalism in protecting PII.
