1**. FUNCTION DESCRIPTION**
1.1. F**UNCTION TITLE**
Chief Financial Officer
1.2. **PURPOSE**
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of a company has primary responsibility for the
planning, implementation, managing and running of all the financial activities of a
company, including business Financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, establishing and directing the Organization’s financial goals and objectives. Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is ultimately responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the organization’s financial reporting and for ensuring that internal controls are in place, enforced, reviewed periodically for conformance to accounting and financial standards and applicable regulations. He should also be responsible for ensuring smooth Operations of Purchase, IT and After
sales services function.

1.4. **JOB DESCRIPTION**
Providing leadership, direction and management of all direct reports
Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO/Board and members of the
executive management team
Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting
Assess and evaluate financial performance of organization with regard to long-term operational goals, budgets and forecasts.
Provide insight and recommendations to both short-term and long-term growth plan of organization.
Prepares forecasted financial statements and prepares reports and recommendations to Top Management and the Board of Directors concerning forecasted financial statements
Analyzing financial statements and prepares reports and recommendations to Top Management and Board of Directors concerning financial performance
Arranges and chairs financial management meetings and prepares financial reports and presentations for scheduled financial management meetings/Board meetings
Ensures that corrective actions are taken in timely manner and that the company is in compliance with the applicable Acts, legal provisions and approves and signs all financial statements, financial reports and tax returns.
Oversees the Company’s financial investment in inventories and assists in developing and reviewing the Inventory Management Plan
Ensures that processes needed for the financial management system are established, implemented and maintained and reports to the CEO and Board of Directors on the performance of the financial management system and reports any need for its improvement
Ensures that internal controls are in place, enforced and reviewed periodically for conformance to accounting and financial standards and applicable regulations.
Directs the Finance Department in developing financial plans to meet the needs of the Company’s operations.
Assesses business / financial risks, prepares a report and recommendations for
dealing/handling with those risks for meeting financial and business objectives.
Responsible for ongoing management of purchasing strategy and activity and for ensuring optimal supplier performance and price. Develop and implement a strategy to ensure the function is operating in line with the objectives of the business to add value, mitigate supply chain risk and deliver cost savings.
Create and implement best practice purchasing vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance
Ensure that purchasing strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets
Maintains organization’s effectiveness and efficiency by defining and delivering strategic plans for implementing Information Technologies.
Implement Information Technology strategies, policies and procedures by evaluating organization needs and outcomes.
To lead the After-Sales Service Team towards delivering excellent customer service to achieve the short term and long term strategic and financial objectives.
1.5. **FUNCTION CRITERIA **
Knowledge and experience
- Education: Should be CA Completed (mandatory) + CS (desirable) with 18 to 25
years of experience in Manufacturing/Greenfield set up
- Experienced in budget development, implementation of financial and legal
regulatory requirements
