Associate, Program Operations

Position Overview:
The Associate, Program Operations will be part of the Core Operation Team and would assist Senior / Manager Operation and the State operation team in smooth functioning of the program implementation.

Responsibilities:
Planning and Management:

- Develop a good understanding of all Room to Read's programs, their inter-linkages in view of the convergence.- Responsible for GEP (Girls Education Program) operations and also assisting in carrying out the additional work of literacy operations.- Create a tracker of the states allocated and update it regularly, including procurement.- Follow up with the state teams and admin. department, on various reports, ICs (Internal Committee), and budget related issues, especially for GEP program.- Assist in AP&B (Annual Planning and budgeting) process and support state program teams.- Coordinate with admin team for timely procurement of various provisioning of programs.- Analyse budgets and forecasts from the states. Follow up on the variances in ICs and spending at the state level.- Coordinate with other program teams, especially GEP program for timely redressal and mitigation of various operational issues.- Bring in operational efficiency in existing systems with that are easily adaptable at the field level.

Reporting:

- Reviewing the monthly and quarterly program reports of GEP including dashboards and provide suggestions to concerned state teams and departments as and when required, in coordination with RM & E department.- Generate independent reports on GSD (Global solution database) to monitor program implementation, as well as perform data analysis, in coordination with M&E (Monitoring and evaluation) department Document best practices and lessons learned during field work and share with Program staff at state and country level.- Facilitating the PIM at field level and its implementation at all levels in close coordination with state teams and departments, in coordination with M&E department.

Other:

- Participate in any other activities which may be required to be undertaken to fulfil the objectives of the organization.- Attend internal meetings (Literacy, GEP review, planning, workshops, coordination meeting etc.) and external workshops as and when required.- Perform other duties as assigned by Senior / Manager Operations.- Undertake field visits of both GEP and LP (Literacy Program) as required, in consultation with Senior /Manager Operations.- Follow up on donor visits in various locations, in coordination with Communications and Dev team for both GEP and LP (Literacy Program).

Qualifications:
Required:

- Bachelor Degree in education / social sciences or equivalent.- Masters in education / social sciences or equivalent preferred.- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.- Have passion for our mission and a strong desire to impact a dynamic non-profit organization.- Be an innovative and creative thinker that tries new things and inspires others to do so.- Have a very high level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness.- Have a strong work ethic and require mínimal direction.- Work well independently as well as part of a team.- Thrive in a fast-paced and fun environment.
