**Job Summary**:
The Resident Medical Officer (RMO) plays a critical role in providing round-the-clock medical care and support to patients under the guidance of senior consultants. The RMO ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care, responds to emergencies, and assists in clinical procedures and day-to-day operations within the hospital or healthcare facility.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide continuous medical cover, routine, and emergency, for patients.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and progress regularly.
- Assist consultants in the examination, diagnosis, and treatment of patients.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and initiate life-saving measures.
- Write and update patient case notes, discharge summaries, and referral letters.
- Ensure all medical records and reports are accurately maintained.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as necessary.
- Supervise and coordinate with nursing and paramedical staff.
- Ensure informed consent is obtained for all appropriate procedures.
- Attend ward rounds with consultants and provide relevant clinical input.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families about treatment plans and progress.
- Follow hospital policies on infection control, patient safety, and documentation.
- Participate in continuing medical education (CME) programs, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- MBBS degree (or equivalent) from a recognized medical college.
- Registration with [Insert relevant medical council, e.g., MCI/NMC].
- [1-3+] years of post-internship experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
- BLS/ACLS certification is preferred (especially for ICUs/Emergency roles).
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including nights and weekends.
