**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated **DCDP (Demi Chef de Partie)** specializing in **Chinese and Continental cuisine** to join our dynamic kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, supporting the Chef de Partie, and maintaining smooth operations in your section.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and cook dishes from both Chinese and Continental menus as per standard recipes and presentation guidelines
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation across all dishes
- Supervise and guide Commis Chefs and junior kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation and kitchen equipment
- Assist in daily mise en place and food preparation for service
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock control and rotation
- Follow all food safety and sanitation policies
- Collaborate with the CDP and Sous Chef on menu planning, specials, and quality control
- Report equipment issues or shortages to the kitchen supervisor promptly
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in Chinese and Continental cooking techniques
- Strong knowledge of ingredients, sauces, and cooking methods in both cuisines
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-pressure kitchen environment
- Leadership and training capabilities for junior staff
- Good communication and time management skills
- Food safety certification preferred
