Retail Merchandiser

**Job Summary**

A Merchandiser ensures that products are displayed in an appealing and strategic manner to maximize sales. They analyze sales trends, manage inventory levels, plan product layouts, and coordinate with suppliers, buyers, and store teams to ensure the right products are available at the right time in the right quantities.

**Key Responsibilities1. Product Display & Visual Merchandising**
- Plan and execute attractive product displays to enhance customer experience.
- Ensure planograms/guidelines are followed across store locations.
- Adjust displays based on seasonality, promotions, and sales performance.
- Maintain product presentation standards (cleanliness, labeling, tagging).

**2. Inventory & Stock Management**
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Identify slow-moving or out-of-stock items and take corrective actions.
- Coordinate with warehouse and suppliers for stock deliveries.
- Conduct regular stock audits to reduce shrinkage.

**3. Sales Analysis & Reporting**
- Analyze daily/weekly sales data to understand product performance.
- Recommend pricing adjustments, markdowns, and promotional ideas.
- Prepare merchandising reports for management.

**4. Store Coordination**
- Work closely with store managers and sales associates to implement merchandising strategies.
- Train staff on product knowledge and display standards.
- Ensure all merchandising activities align with brand identity.

**5. Market & Competitor Research**
- Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor displays.
- Suggest new products or display concepts based on research.

**Skills & Competencies**
- Strong visual and aesthetic sense.
- Analytical ability to interpret sales and inventory data.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Understanding of retail operations and customer behavior.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, POS systems, or inventory software (optional but valuable).

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field (preferred).
- Experience in retail merchandising, visual merchandising, or store operations.
- Knowledge of planograms and retail display strategies is a plus.

**Work Environment**
- Based in retail stores with frequent travel between store locations (in multi-store setups).
- Requires standing and moving for extended periods during display set-ups.
- Often involves working early mornings, late evenings, or weekends for resets and promotions.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month

**Experience**:
