**Job Summary**:

- Modification of existing formulations / processes to improve the product performance, cost effectiveness and process optimization.
- Coordinating with internal and external customers for trouble shooting and problem solving.
- Testing and characterization of synthesized polymers and formulated products.
- Preparation and maintenance of research records.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Research and Development**:
Capable of synthesizing specialty polymer products to meet specific functional requirements.

Capable of developing innovative formulations meeting the functional requirements of sealants, adhesives, speciality coatings, encapsulants and related products.

**2. Testing and characterization**:
Understand and perform the complete characterization of speciality polymeric materials prepared in-house using state of the art techniques. Perform physical, mechanical, and thermal analysis of polymeric materials & formulated products and correlate the results.

Development of new testing techniques and methods as and when needed to evaluate formulated properties.

**3. Process Optimization**:
Understanding the existing processes and optimizing the production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs wherever possible.

**4. Support to Production team**:
Coordinate with the Process engineering team and production team for the scale up of formulated products / in-house synthesized products.

**5. Support to QA team**:
Demonstration of newly developed testing methods to the QA team. Ensure product quality by developing and implementing rigorous testing protocols.

Coordinate with the QA team for root cause analysis and providing corrective action for the internal and external customer issues.

**6. Documentation and Report making**:
Prepare and maintain new development records which should include design formulations, design reviews, test results, Meeting minutes, customer queries, etc.

Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Knowledge on IATF 16949, core tools like APQP, FMEA, PPAP and control plan.

**7. Regulatory compliance**:
Ensure that the newly formulated products / synthesized polymers comply with national and international environmental and safety regulations (e.g. REACH, RoHS).

**8. Team building**:
Develop cordial working relationships within the team to achieve the target.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
**Educational Background**: MTech in Polymer Technology / Polymer Science & Engineering

**Experience**:6 - 7 years of experience in synthesizing specialty polymers / formulation of sealants, adhesives, specialty coatings, encapsulants and related products.

**Technical Expertise**:
Proficiency in synthesis of specialty polymers / formulation of sealants, adhesives, specialty coatings, encapsulants and related products.

**Soft Skills**:

- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Leadership and project management experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
