Job Title: Rigging Supervisor

Location: Doha, Qatar

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities for rigging supervisor**
- Provide accurate bid days and resource requirements to accomplish expected tasks on time and budget
- Thorough knowledge of Lifting/Rigging standards, tools, tackles.
- Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in all rigging and lifting activities, to ensure compliance with safety procedures and method statements
- Develop and submit complete lift plans/method statement for all Heavy lifts prior to attempting it with basic calculations like CG, Moments, Loads, Safe angles
- Prepare Risk Assessment for rigging operation
- Carryout periodic Inspection of equipment and all rigging hardware such as wire rope, web sling, spreader bar, shackles, chain block, body harness
- Supervise the cranes boom, accessories, maintaining the log for each crane, ensuring erection of barriers and safety sign board in respect to lifting areas
- Ability to optimize resources (manpower, equipment and materials) to ensure efficient and timely completion of the job
- Ensures that work crews are properly supplied with tools, equipment and materials

**Qualifications for rigging supervisor**
- Requires strong computer skills in Microsoft Office products and knowledge of a material/inventory control system, company mainframe system, SAP
- Requires excellent communication skills, both oral and written, interpersonal skills
- This position requires a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
- APICS Certification is preferred, along with a strong knowledge of material/inventory control and transportation practices
- Minimum five (5+) plus years of production/theatrical rigging experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹92,864.00 - ₹139,326.00 per month
