**Roles and Responsibility
**AIX Administration Activities**:

- Install, Upgrade, And Configure AIX Servers.
- IBM pSeries Hardware.
- LVM, NIM, NFS.
- VIO, LPAR, DLPAR and HMC.
- System Recovery Backup and Restore.
- Knowledge on HACMP, VCS, GPFS.
- Virtualization technologies AIX LPARs/VIOS.
- Spectrum client installation and configuration.
- Backup monitoring & Restore Operations.
- Media Management.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, NFS, SSH and other UNIX services.
- Configuring cron jobs, and working on cron logs to checking for job status.
- AIX command knowledge.
- Good working knowledge on Power VC/SC.
- Handling Sev1 incidents & problem management, preparing RCA.
