The Business Analytics Grp Manager is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Directs a team of professionals. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Excellent commercial awareness is a necessity. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Accountable for the end results of an area. Involved in short - to medium-term planning of actions for own area. This role is an interface between Citi Retail Services Business and Analytics team. Would require extended overlap with US to manage senior business stakeholders & drive key business priorities. **Key Responsibilities of a AIM Interfacing Role** - Interact regularly with business partners (core business and not just the USPBA team) in US to understand their strategic priorities, develop context, proactively design and propose analytical solutions - Understand P&L of the business, tie back analytical solution to the business question / KPI. Depending on area, develop deep understanding of MRM, Marketing, CX etc. - Manage up and collaborate vs. working in a silo to await direction from USPBA. Create compelling analytical strategy and insights document that connect people to the solutions, driving financial outcomes and better business decisions. - Be the translator for the rest of the AIM team (in the specific area), ensure everyone is aligned on the information and context, guide on solution development, review results, make it business ready - Be part of USPBA (Murli’s) team. Proactively develop talent. Institutionalize knowledge within the team. Anticipate business demands and be agile to respond to them **Qualifications**: - 10+ years of experience - Experience in financial services - Ability in strategic thinking and the ability to frame business problems - Excellent analytical, technical and/or statistical skills with proven ability to translate large volumes of data - An influencer who communicates clearly and frequently to both technical analysts and non-technical business leaders - Intellectually curious, consistently seeking and developing new opportunities **Education**: - Bachelors/University degree, Master’s degree preferred This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
