Responsibilities for content strategist
Utilize an understanding of target markets to set the tone of the content, ensuring copywriting and content standards are maintained, and developing a consistent “voice” throughout the DDReg site
Create recommendations for content based on business and user needs
Assess business goals, user needs, content requirements, and content sources
Provide the background research and analysis that stakeholders need to make smart decisions about content
Develop content strategy and contribute to content management planning
Contribute to editorial guidelines and content processes
Edit and proof content as needed
Build and manage the content roadmap for a business unit
Determine the mix between brand generated and third-party content
Align impactful content types with specific points of the customer journey
Qualifications for content strategist
Graduate/Post Graduate in English language and/or Life Sciences stream
Define, document, and maintain guidelines for content and metadata
Be an evangelist for all things content
High level of collaboration with multiple content strategists, IAs, designers
Ongoing collaboration with copywriters/content creators
Develop content strategy for complex informational interfaces (transactional websites, intranets, knowledge management systems)
Concept, Research and Write ideas and stories for video
