Key Responsibilities:
Layout Design:
Create and implement page layouts according to design mockups, ensuring proper alignment, spacing, and typography across different page types.

Content Flow Management:
Organize text and image elements within the layout, ensuring smooth transitions between pages while maintaining consistency with style guides.

Pagination Automation:
Utilize InDesign's scripting capabilities to automate repetitive tasks like page numbering, table of contents generation, and cross-referencing.

XML Workflow:
Import and manage XML data to populate layouts dynamically, ensuring accurate data mapping and formatting.

Quality Control:
Thoroughly proofread and check for errors in pagination, including missing content, incorrect page breaks, and formatting inconsistencies.

Collaboration:
Work closely with editors, designers, and project managers to understand project requirements and deliver layouts that meet expectations.

**Required Skills**:
Expert Proficiency in Adobe InDesign:
Comprehensive understanding of InDesign features like master pages, styles, text frames, image placement, and page management tools.

Strong Typography Skills:
Knowledge of font families, hierarchy, and proper text formatting for optimal readability.

Attention to Detail:
Ability to meticulously manage layout elements and ensure consistency across the entire document.

Technical Skills:
Familiarity with XML workflows, InDesign scripting, and potential integration with other publishing software.

Problem-Solving:
Capability to troubleshoot and resolve layout issues related to complex content or design specifications.

Relevant Experience:
Previous experience as a pagination specialist, typesetter, or layout designer in a publishing environment.

Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for print production.

Experience working with diverse content types, including books, magazines, technical manuals, and e-publications.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
