**Job Description: Computer Science Teacher**

**Position Overview**:
The Computer Science Teacher is responsible for instructing students on foundational and advanced topics in computer science, including programming, algorithms, data structures, and IT fundamentals, as per the academic curriculum. The teacher will design engaging lessons, foster a problem-solving mindset, and equip students with technical skills to thrive in a technology-driven world.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Delivery**:

- Teach computer science concepts as outlined in the school's curriculum, including theoretical and practical topics.
- Instruct students on programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or others relevant to the syllabus.
- Ensure students understand core computer science principles, such as algorithms, data structures, networking, and databases.
- **Lesson Planning & Instruction**:

- Develop lesson plans and teaching materials that meet curriculum requirements.
- Use innovative teaching methods, such as project-based learning and hands-on exercises, to engage students.
- Introduce emerging technologies like AI, cybersecurity, or web development, where applicable.
- **Assessment & Progress Tracking**:

- Evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and projects.
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills.
- Identify and address learning gaps to ensure all students achieve academic success.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Foster a positive and collaborative learning environment.
- Encourage ethical and responsible use of technology.
- Address behavioral or disciplinary issues in a professional manner.
- **Extracurricular Involvement**:

- Mentor students participating in computer science competitions or hackathons.
- Organize workshops, coding camps, or seminars to enhance students’ technical knowledge.
- **Collaboration & Communication**:

- Work with school management to enhance the computer science curriculum.
- Collaborate with other teachers for interdisciplinary projects.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and performance.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Educational Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Teaching certifications or B.Ed. (preferred for school settings).
- **Technical Proficiency**:

- Expertise in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, HTML/CSS).
- Familiarity with database management, operating systems, and computer networks.
- Knowledge of tools like Scratch, Blockly, or robotics (preferred for younger students).
- **Experience**:

- Prior teaching experience in computer science is preferred.
- Experience in developing curriculum or working with CBSE/ICSE/IB boards is an advantage.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
