IT Teacher

**Job Description: IT Teacher (Grade 10 - CBSE Curriculum)**

**Position Overview**:
The IT Teacher is responsible for teaching Information Technology to Grade 10 students as per the CBSE curriculum. This includes theoretical IT concepts and practical programming skills, with a focus on Python. The teacher will design lessons, deliver engaging and practical instruction, assess student progress, and help students achieve their academic goals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Delivery**:

- Design and implement lesson plans that align with the CBSE framework, ensuring clarity and relevance.
- Provide hands-on programming practice using Python to strengthen students' coding skills.
- **Lesson Planning & Instruction**:

- Create interactive lessons, incorporating tools and technologies to enhance understanding.
- Break down complex concepts, such as data types, loops, and functions in Python, for better student comprehension.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Establish a positive and disciplined learning environment.
- Ensure all students understand and follow responsible and ethical technology practices.
- **Assessment & Progress Tracking**:

- Evaluate student progress through assignments, quizzes, and projects based on Python and other IT topics.
- Provide constructive feedback to support individual student development.
- **Collaboration & Communication**:

- Collaborate with school leadership to improve the IT program.
- Communicate with parents and guardians to update them on student performance when necessary.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Educational Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- B.Ed. (preferred but not mandatory, based on school requirements).
- **Technical Proficiency**:

- Proficient in Python programming, including loops, functions, and file handling.
- Familiarity with IT concepts in the CBSE Grade 10 syllabus.
- Knowledge of other relevant tools or software is a plus.
- **Experience**:

- Prior teaching experience in a CBSE school or experience teaching Python is preferred.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students.
- Patience, creativity, and adaptability in teaching methods.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
