Supergram is a next-generation **social media platform**, aiming to connect users through hyper-localized, meaningful content. Our vision is to create a unique and engaging app experience tailored for Indian audiences, aged 18-45, who love reels and crave deeper connections.

We’re at the MVP stage and looking for a visionary CTO to lead our tech efforts and bring our app to life.

**Role Overview**

As the CTO, you’ll take charge of the technical strategy, oversee the development of the MVP, and build a world-class tech team. You’ll be the driving force behind creating a scalable, high-performance platform while working closely with the founder and other stakeholders to align the technical roadmap with our business goals.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Technical Leadership**:

- Define the technical vision, architecture, and development roadmap.
- Oversee the development of the MVP and ensure its timely delivery.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends to keep Supergram competitive.

**Team Building and Management**
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of developers, designers, and QA engineers.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the team.

**Product Development**
- Ensure the MVP is scalable, secure, and optimized for Indian users.
- Guide the team in implementing features like reels, location-based discovery, and social interactions.
- Collaborate with the design team to create an intuitive and visually appealing user interface.

**Operational Oversight**
- Establish best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.
- Implement DevOps processes for CI/CD, server management, and performance monitoring.
- Manage technical risks and troubleshoot production issues as needed.

**Strategic Alignment**
- Align the tech roadmap with business objectives and investor expectations.
- Support fundraising efforts by articulating the tech vision and demonstrating feasibility to potential investors.

**Key Requirements**
- **Experience**: 5+ years in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role (social media app experience preferred).
- **Technical Skills**:

- Expertise in modern tech stacks for mobile and web development (e.g., Flutter, React, Node.js).
- Knowledge of scalable architecture, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and DevOps.
- Familiarity with AI/ML and recommendation algorithms is a plus.
- **Leadership**: Proven ability to build and manage high-performing technical teams.
- **Soft Skills**: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and a passion for innovation.
- **Education**: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
