**Job Title: Special Education Teacher**

**Location**: Pune

**Position Overview**: The Special Education Teacher is responsible for providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse learning needs. This role involves developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), adapting classroom materials and teaching strategies, and collaborating with other educators and parents to support the academic and emotional development of students.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Individualized Instruction**:

- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Adapt and modify curriculum and instructional materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic growth of students.
- Utilize various behavioral management techniques to promote a positive learning atmosphere.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' progress and needs.
- Regularly review and update IEPs in collaboration with students, parents, and other professionals.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure the integration and success of students with special needs.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address concerns.
- **Instructional Strategies**:

- Implement evidence-based teaching strategies and interventions tailored to individual students’ needs.
- Provide one-on-one or small group instruction as required.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of student progress, behavior, and instructional strategies.
- Prepare and submit required reports and documentation in a timely manner.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in special education.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
