Scrum Master

PAI team consists of Cyber Security Domain Specialists, Information Security Analysts, Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Data Analysts focused on continuous enhancement (Product Development) of the Security Insight Platform as well as working with our clients to analyze and deliver security risks and insights for large enterprises.

**Role Purpose and Key Accountabilities:
The Scrum Master will work closely with multiple stakeholders like Client Delivery Directors/ Solution Delivery Directors/Leads and Solution Owners, to facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, retrospective meetings etc.

As a scrum practitioner, you play the crucial role as Servant Leader, which helps the Scrum Team to develop and be on an Agile Path that yields maximum values and meets the end-user requirement effectively and consistently.

Scrum Master will not only mentor the respective team but also will facilitate other members of the Organization to follow the path of Agile methodologies. This role is responsible for making sure the team members can adapt changes quickly and clears the backlogs in a timely manner.

The key accountabilities for this role include:
Ensure strong Agile /Scrum practices are followed.
- Coordinate and collaborate with various stakeholders to consistently deliver high-quality output to our clients.
- Aligned to Agile methodology - by performing scrum activities like backlog grooming, sprint planning, release management and agile planning with utmost importance.
- Scrum Master is responsible that every member of the Scrum Team is well aware of Product features. He/she should also ensure the goal, scope, & Product domain are well understood by everyone on the Scrum Team.
- Scrum Master must be accountable and build consensus throughout an organization. Work with the team every day to help members achieve sprint goals.
- To improve effectiveness and efficiency, Scrum Master encourages Scrum & Development to use the approach of continuous integration (CI) and automation.
- The Scrum Master has the foremost responsibility of removing the impediments, mainly the project blockages that impede progress.
- This role ensures the team is empowered, enhanced and motivated on self-management.

**Information Security responsibilities:
- We take our security responsibilities very seriously and we trust each of our team members to do their utmost to keep our business secure and safe.
- Ensure you are aware and comply with the organization’s information security policies and procedures.Ensure no client data is copied or downloaded to PAI system/network.
- Ensure you do not access sensitive data which is not required for you to perform your job responsibilities. If in doubt, please consult with your Lead before proceeding.
- Ensure you attend and comply with all Information Security trainings provided by the PAI InfoSec and People team.

**Skills and Experience:
- Pertinent experience in Scrum and Agile practices.
- Strong skills in using tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Experience working in technical projects by practicing strong Agile methodologies.
- Strong mentoring experience, that helps everyone in the team to follow Agile system diligently, by promptly responding on what, why and how to accomplish the methodology.
- Technical skill appreciation gained through working with cross functional teams.
- Good stakeholder handling experience is required for this role.
- Strong decision making and problem-solving ability are key skills to achieve success in this role.

**Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules and practices.
- Good knowledge of software development processes and procedures to understand his team needs.
- Knowledge of best practices to deliver the product on time.
- Knowledge in practicing Agile ceremonies is a key to success for this role

**Education:
- Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering.
