**Job Title**: Hostess**Job Overview**:
The hostess is the first point of contact for guests arriving at the restaurant. They create a welcoming atmosphere, provide excellent customer service, and ensure smooth seating arrangements, contributing to an overall positive dining experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Greeting Guests**:

- Warmly greet and welcome guests as they enter the restaurant.
- Ensure all guests are acknowledged in a timely and friendly manner.
- **Seating Guests**:

- Escort guests to their assigned table, provide menus, and inform them of any specials.
- Ensure that tables are set appropriately before guests are seated.
- **Managing Reservations**:

- Answer phone calls and manage reservation bookings.
- Maintain a waitlist and coordinate with the kitchen and service team to manage seating availability.
- **Providing Information**:

- Offer information about the restaurant’s menu, promotions, and facilities.
- Answer guest questions about wait times and assist with special requests or accommodations.
- **Managing the Front Desk**:

- Monitor and organize the guest waiting area.
- Keep track of guest flow to minimize wait times and ensure efficient seating.
- **Communication**:

- Relay information between guests and the kitchen or waitstaff, especially in the case of special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Communicate with the team to ensure tables are prepared and ready in a timely manner.
- **Customer Service**:

- Maintain a professional and friendly attitude at all times.
- Assist guests with any concerns, complaints, or requests to ensure satisfaction.
- **Supporting the Dining Room**:

- Assist in clearing tables and ensuring that the dining area is tidy and organized.
- Help with other duties as needed, such as assisting servers or running food.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly and outgoing personality.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks.
- Good organizational skills.
- Experience in a customer-facing role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, especially during peak dining hours.
- Basic knowledge of the restaurant's menu and operations.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to walk and move around the dining area quickly and efficiently.
- Some lifting and carrying of menus, seating materials, or cleaning supplies may be required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹8,901.24 - ₹30,069.77 per month
