Handle all customer transactions, including cash, credit, debit, and digital payments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policies.
- Ensure that the cash drawer is balanced at the beginning and end of each shift, and report any discrepancies to management.
- Greet customers warmly and assist with inquiries about the menu, sweets, namkeens, and other products.
- Address customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate to management if necessary.
- Assist customers in packaging their purchases, especially larger orders or bulk items.
- Upsell and cross-sell products, such as promoting new items or suggesting complementary products.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders, especially during peak hours.
- Monitor stock levels of items at the counter, such as packaged sweets and namkeens, and inform management when supplies are low.
- Ensure the security of all cash, checks, and other payments throughout the shift.
- Deposit daily sales receipts in accordance with company policies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records of all transactions.
- Keep the cashier area neat, organized, and clean at all times.
- Ensure that all promotional materials, brochures, and product displays are well-maintained and updated.
- Participate in periodic inventory checks and assist in reconciling stock discrepancies.
- Work closely with kitchen staff, servers, and other cashiers to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide support to other team members during busy times, such as helping with packaging or restocking.
