**About the Role**:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of C2FO ITPL is an executive position responsible for overseeing the financial activities of C2FO’s operations in India. Reporting to the Global CFO with a dotted line to the Country GM, the CFO plays a crucial role in managing the financial health of the company by developing and implementing financial strategies and policies that align with the overall business objectives. This individual will be a strategic finance executive with good external banking, investor and auditor relationships, a strong analytical background with an emphasis on forecasting and budgeting and experience managing the accounting function of a finance organization. Prior experience with mergers and acquisitions and fundraising is a plus. This role will have a local controller report to them.

**Essential Duties**:

- **Financial Planning and Analysis**: Develop and oversee the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- **Financial Reporting and Compliance**: Ensure that the company's financial reports are accurate, timely, and in compliance with regulatory accounting standards.
- **Treasury and Risk Management**: Manage the company's cash flow, investments, and oversee financial risk management activities.
- **Tax Planning and Compliance**: Develop and implement tax planning strategies that minimize the company's tax liabilities and ensure that the company is in compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.Investor Relations: Manage relationships with stakeholders and ensure that the company's financial performance is communicated effectively to these groups.
- **Auditing**: Partner with external and internal auditors, ensuring timely completion of annual financials and completion of all related reports. Interacting with statutory auditors during annual and Tax audits and ensuring that the observations are closed expeditiously and in time bound manner. Strategic Planning: Provide financial insights and guidance to the executive team and participate in strategic planning activities to drive the company's growth and profitability.
- **Team Management**: Lead, motivate and develop direct reports through strong collaboration and people skills. Business Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve financial processes, systems and controls to ensure that they are efficient, effective, and in line with industry best practices.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- 15+ years of experience in finance, with 5+ years of experience as a CFO or divisional CFO of a Global or US based company, ideally publicly traded, that has local Indian Operations, or a large, listed Indian corporate with international operations.
- Financial Controller in a banking or Fintech is a plus, as is experience with fundraising.
- Experience with leading end-to-end accounting processes, taxation, statutory audits and internal control functions and cash flow management.
- Ability to inspire confidence and create trust combined with strong people management skills. Team management experience is a must.
- Have the ability to streamline accounting functions, provide financial analysis and reports, promote regulatory compliance.
- Must possess strong analytical skills, exceptional problem-solving skills, and deliver expert financial perspectives and opinions.

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Management/Accounting/Finance
- Master’s degree in Management/Accounting/Finance or Chartered Accountant (CA), preferred.
