Football Coach, Youth Team

You will report to the Football Director and will be responsible for developing and executing the Technical operational and player development plan for the Senior Team of Punjab Football Club (PFC). You will leverage the capabilities of the various functional constituents of the Sports organization to enhance the professional athletic capabilities of the Senior Team of PFC.

**What you’ll do**:

- Collaborate with the Football program stakeholders to evolve the technical development philosophy and framework, and translate it into daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly schedule of Football program operations
- Teach Football technical skills, tactics and techniques for game development at individual and team level; identify and action plan on the strengths and development areas for athletes
- Document progress of athletes on a quarterly basis and assist other coaching team members in preparing periodic reports on each player in prescribed template
- Perform training and match session analysis of own and competitor teams, to discuss and develop strategies for peak / winning team performance; continuously monitor and enhance performance by providing constructive feedback and match evaluations
- Assist on planning, organizing and execution of match / competition events and travel to tournaments with the athlete squads as and when required; prepare players mentally and physically before a competition
- Collaborate with performance science and wellbeing function, including medical / injury management & rehabilitation team members to implement practices that enables athletes to reach and maintain peak performance
- Collaborate with sports operations team members to facilitate a diverse set of tasks related to logístical planning, player engagement, resource / equipment management and general management so as to enable operations during competition / training events
- Assist in the scouting processes of Football athletes and collaborate on the continuous development of technical capabilities in the Football academy and its youth program
- Engage with external stakeholders / sports federation / media to enable the Football program operations and promote a positive image of the Club in alignment with Company guidelines
- Collaborate with functional and cross-functional team members to deliver on documentation related processes connected with the Football program / operations as per specific requirments of the Club / Company

**Who we’re looking for**:

- Advanced specialisation in Football sports coaching; demonstarted experience of professional Football coaching experience in an international context
- High degree of emotional intelligence to drive a collaborative culture that inspires passion for achieving results; able to proactively sense and resolve conflicts in a diverse multicultural setup
- Communication skills to influence a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to collaborate successfully as part of a multi-disciplinary team to achieve performance and wellbeing objectives of athletes / team
- Leadership orientation and style that attracts, develops and retains athletic and professional talent
- Process orientation to manage and organize activities / schedules / tasks in a systematic manner
