Position Title: Strength & Conditioning Coach, Youth Team (Football)

You will be responsible for collaborating with a multidisciplinary sports team to design and deploy contemporary strength and conditioning processes and techniques to optimize the development and performance of athletes of the Youth Team of Punjab Football Club. This position will play an important role in ensuring the fitness, health, and readiness of professional athletes to engage in high-performance athletic competitions.

What you'll do:

• Leverage contemporary scientific practices and technical innovations in the design and management of sports science programs that set the highest standards of athletic care and wellbeing for Youth Team athletes
• Create, review, update and deploy policies, programs, and procedures from the sports science domain for day-to-day operational rhythm in close collaboration with key stakeholders of the Club
• Ensure rigorous training of all athletes, with the goals of improving stamina, speed, and strength while maintaining player safety and health
• Contribute in the formulation, scheduling, and delivery of strength and conditioning training programs for individual and a group of athletes, for both off and in-season periods and including both off and on-field-based training methodologies, in collaboration with the Academy Coaches
• Develop and assist in all physical assessment procedures and ensure data is recorded and interpreted, with future programs tailored to the needs of the athletes and operational plan of Club
• Collaborate with injury management and rehabilitation team to develop / enable interventions that maximise rehabilitation potential of players
• Ensure maintenance and upkeep of database and analytics regarding athletes' performance data, conditioning, therapy and rehabilitation sessions necessary to develop and readjust future program considerations; manage data in accordance with relevant legislation, processes and procedures
• Provide consulting support to optimize nutritional and dietary practices in the context of athletic performance and health
• Lead by example on being diligent and observant at all times and ensure safety & risk aspects are considered within all sports science interventions / programs; create a safe and respectable environment for athletes and team members to maximize their holistic development
• Promote RoundGlass cultural values amongst staff members and players to nurture a collaborative work environment

Who we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree with advanced education in sports science or related program
• Significant and demonstrated experience in catering to holistic needs of professional football players and coaches through scientific application of knowledge from the domains of sports science and wellbeing
• Ability to collaborate successfully as part of a multi-disciplinary team to achieve performance and wellbeing objectives
• Ability to communicate information in a manner that is easily understood by a range of audiences
• Demonstrated skills in building and nurturing productive working relationships through a motivational teaching and coaching style
• Demonstrated ability to adapt and navigate in an environment of ambiguity and fast paced changes
• A creative thinker, receptive to feedback and willing to learn; one who can successfully navigate and resolve interpersonal conflicts
• An authentic passion to role model and practice the science and art of wholistic Wellbeing
