**Experience**: 1+ years (preferably in Footwear designing).
**Location**:Gurugram, Haryana (India).
**Educational Qualification**:Bachelors’/Masters’ Degree in relevant stream.
**Job Description / Responsibilities**:
- Sketching designs and creating accessories (Footwear, Bags etc.) using particular materials and patterns using various principles and techniques of the art design to create products that stands out.
- Vendor Coordination: Negotiating with vendors for best competitive quotations and quality.
- Maintaining robust Time and Action calendar to meet deadlines and follow up with each vendor rigorously.
- Guiding the vendor on the most suitable options related to design/leather/fittings/fabric and help them making the right decisions related to product development.
- Getting the mock-ups and samples developed as per specifications.
- Responsible for full handling of production via daily targets. Keep track of development workflow and to ensure product quality and execution meet our standards.
- Monitoring WIP order tracking activities to ensure on-time deliveries with correct quality and quantity.
- Troubleshooting production problems, prevent /resolve issues that will impact on product quality, cost and delivery.
- Coordinating with buyer as well as vendor.
- Taking full control of the quality of the product by conducting regular QC.
- Identifying and developing new vendors according to brand’s requirement.
- A strong vendor base in India/Globally would be preferred.
**Requirements**:
- Eye for Details to color scheme & style with Excellent Designing Skills using Photoshop, Illustrator and other designing software.
- Knowledge About ongoing Accessory Trends
- Should be able to complete product development process from seasonal forecast to coordinating with suppliers for the end product.
- Highly adaptable and flexible to changing business environments, ability to work independently.
- Good interpersonal & communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
