**Role
- Unsecured Collection Officer**

**Responsibilities**:

- **Debt Collection**:

- Follow up on outstanding debts and ensure timely collection according to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and communications with customers.
- **Customer Communication**:

- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their financial situations and establish repayment plans that are mutually acceptable.
- Provide assistance and guidance to customers experiencing financial difficulties, offering solutions to help them fulfil their obligations.
- **Relationship Management**:

- Handle customer inquiries and complaints regarding billing and payment issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as customer service and credit departments to resolve customer issues and address payment discrepancies.
- **Reporting**:

- Prepare regular reports on collection activities, including account statuses, payment trends, and recovery rates.
- Provide updates to management on collection performance and recommend strategies for improvement.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in debt collection or a similar role, preferably in the NBFC/Fintech/financial services industry.
- Experience in working on unsecured business loans, working capital loans etc.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations tactfully.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in computer software, including MS Office and debt collection systems.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing debt collection practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and professionalism in dealing with sensitive financial matters.
