**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Serve as the primary contact for ticket escalations from the helpdesk.
- Ability to configure, monitor, and maintain Windows servers within a Microsoft Azure cloud environment and on-prem.
- Maintain cloud and on-prem servers, including security configurations, patching, and troubleshooting.
- Assist in maintaining system security strategies, processes, and procedures.
- Assist in maintaining our DR (Disaster Recovery) Strategy
- Creating (where appropriate) automation to streamline administrative tasks.

**Essential Experience**
- Windows System Administration (AD, DNS (Domain Name Server), IIS (Internet Information Services), etc)
- Hyper-V and Failover Clustering
- System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM)
- PowerShell

**Preferred Experience**
- Storage Spaces Direct (S2D) and/or Azure Stack HCI
- Basic understanding of network concepts (VLANs, DHCP, DNS, etc)
- #LI-PT1
