Cloud Infrastructure Manager Job

As a Cloud Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the cloud infrastructure environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Experience in complete cloud administration with a strong understanding of tenancy, virtual cloud networks, compartments, network layers, firewalls, subnets, storage options, file systems, block volume, and object storage.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure administration including installation, configuration, migrations, tuning, patching, and monitoring.
  • Hands-on experience in writing and modifying Terraform scripts for application deployments on cloud platforms and for managing cloud infrastructure.
  • Optimize performance, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as needed and ensure high availability of infrastructure.
  • Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure/add new services as necessary.
  • Experience with network security groups, bastion hosts, service sessions, and public load balancer provisioning.
  • Provision storage, compute nodes, networks, and understand requirements for the same.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) solutions: virtual machines/networks, on-premise/hybrid cloud computing, cloud identity, security models, cloud monitoring, logging, local and cloud storage.
  • Handle certificate renewals on cloud platforms.
  • Understand and have hands-on experience with HA architecture in a cloud environment.
  • Strong understanding of HA concepts in disaster recovery and setting up infrastructure for disaster recovery sites.
  • Migrate data and applications between systems and environments.
  • Analyze solution designs that accompany business requirements for technical delivery.
  • Assist in design decisions, develop and implement cloud solutions.

  • Certified Cloud Architect Associate/Professional (Mandatory)
  • Certified Cloud Migration and Integration Specialist (Preferred)
  • Certified Cloud Security Associate/Professional (Preferred)
  • Certified Cloud Operations Associate (Preferred)
