Job Description for **Operator-PVD Operation.**

Reporting To
- Shift Leader/Manager No of Reporting Staff— Nil Location
- Pune

**Job Summary**:
The Job Responsibilities of **Operator, PVD** are receiving control, fixing the process steps, pre
- and post-treatment of tools, and follow the company standards as per the guidelines. And also responsible to maintain the day to day shift work for production, quality and maintenance. The detailed Job Responsibilities are mentioned herein under:
**Job Responsibilities include but not limited to the Following**:

- Receiving Control as per the guidelines for the different tools
- Fixing the process steps as per the guidelines for different tools and type of coatings
- Pre-treatment like Stripping, cleaning, polishing, deburring, edge treatment etc. to be followed and controlled as per the standards.
- Setting/Loading the tools in PVD machine as per the SOP
- Select the appropriate coating recipe to get the desired coating and thickness.
- Carry out quality control like hardness, thickness measurement as per the standards
- Responsible for the preventive maintenance and documentation related to PVD machine and other equipment as per the standards/manuals
- Ensure that all process parameters, work instructions & procedures are in compliance with the

QA requirements.

**Other activities**
- 5 S and Kaizen activities
- Ensure the compliance of safety related procedures
- Responsible to maintain the day-to-day shift work for production/quality/maintenance with the help of Shift Leader/Manager
- Suggestions for improvements if any
- Besides this, there could be day to day interactions over telephone

**MIS**
- Internal rejections analysis report

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 60 months

**Salary**: ₹10,162.82 - ₹24,201.83 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pune, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- total work: 2 years (preferred)
- Mechanical engineering: 2 years (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Night Shift (preferred)
- Day Shift (preferred)
- Overnight Shift (preferred)
