Job Title: Automation QA Specialist

Location: Mohali, Punjab

Experience Required: 6+ Years

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive manual and automated test plans and cases.
- Review system requirements and create traceability matrices for coverage tracking.
- Provide timely feedback on quality specifications and technical design documentation.
- Execute test plans, identify issues, and document bugs thoroughly.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test coverage and system requirements.
- Conduct white-box and black-box testing to validate software functionality and performance.
- Perform regression testing post-bug fixes to maintain software stability.
- Continuously improve testing processes and keep up with industry best practices.
- Track and report quality assurance metrics (e.g., defect densities, open defect counts).
- Stay updated with emerging testing tools and techniques to enhance QA effectiveness.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in QA and automation testing roles.
- Strong grasp of QA methodologies, test processes, and tools.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools—Playwright is preferred.
- Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and other modern web technologies.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with performance or security testing is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Eligibility to pass a Public Trust Clearance (at minimum).
