**Job Description: AssistHealth Navigator**
**Position Overview**:
As an AssistHealth Navigator, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting members through their healthcare journey. This position involves ensuring members receive personalized, priority care by connecting them with the best healthcare providers, managing medical records, and offering expert assistance.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Healthcare Navigation**: Provide personalized healthcare support to members, including assisting with scheduling appointments, coordinating care, and offering guidance on healthcare options.
- **Member Engagement**: Establish trust-based relationships with members to understand their unique needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- **Clinical Data Management**: Interpret and present clinical information effectively to members, helping them make informed healthcare decisions.
- **Sales and Membership Support**: Promote AssistHealth’s membership plans, emphasizing the benefits of premium services to individuals and families.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with healthcare providers, AH Hospital Companions, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
- **Problem Solving**: Address member concerns promptly, providing solutions and ensuring a positive experience.
- **Technology Utilization**: Use digital tools and platforms to manage member records, communication, and service updates.
- **Training and Education**: Stay updated on healthcare trends and AssistHealth services, participating in ongoing professional development.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- **Educational Background**: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- **Experience**: 3-4 years of professional experience in the healthcare sector, preferably in patient care, navigation, or sales roles.
- **Sales and Negotiation**: Strong ability to promote and negotiate membership plans effectively.
- **Communication and Networking**: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact with members, healthcare providers, and internal teams.
- **Organization and Planning**: Adept at managing schedules, coordinating care, and maintaining organized records.
- **Analytical Thinking**: Ability to analyze clinical data and problem-solve effectively.
- **Adaptability**: Flexibility to navigate frequent changes in healthcare systems, services, and processes.
- **Teamwork**: Collaborative spirit with the ability to work independently when needed.
- **Work Environment**: Primarily office-based, with potential field visits as required.
**Preferred Attributes**:
- Prior experience in healthcare navigation or a similar member-focused role.
