He is responsible for taking orders, preparing and serving food and beverages, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for customers.

**Responsibilities**
- **Customer service**: Greet customers, answer the queries about menu, provide recommendations, and handle complaints professionally to ensure a positive customer experience.
- **Order processing**: Take customer orders accurately and input them into the point-of-sale (POS) system. Process payments efficiently, handling cash and card transactions.
- **Food and beverage preparation**: Prepare hot and cold beverages (such as coffee, espresso drinks, tea, and smoothies) and food items (including wraps, sandwiches, and salads) according to established recipes and quality standards.
- **Maintain cleanliness**: Keep all work areas, including the counter, food preparation stations, and seating areas, clean and organized.
- **Inventory management**: Monitor and restock inventory, including coffee beans, food ingredients, and supplies like napkins and cups. Assist with tracking stock levels and reporting shortages to management.
- **Adherence to regulations**: Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both customers and staff.
- **Team collaboration**: Work effectively with other team members.

**Qualifications and skills**
- **Qualification**: Minimum 10th Pass.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in a cafe, hospitality, or customer-facing role.
- **Communication skills**: Must have good verbal and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and work collaboratively with colleagues.
- **Multitasking ability**: Strong time management and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment are crucial.
- **Attention to detail**: A commitment to accuracy is needed for taking complex orders, handling cash, and maintaining quality in food and drink preparation.
- **Knowledge of food safety**: Familiarity with health and hygiene regulations is important.
- **Basic math skills**: Competence in basic arithmetic is needed for accurately processing transactions and handling cash.

**Positive attitude**: A friendly, approachable, and customer-focused demeanour is essential for creating a welcoming atmosphere and encouraging repeat business.
