**Job Specifications**:
Experience: 3-5 Years

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing), GNM, MSc, or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.

Valid nursing registration and license from the appropriate regulatory body.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)

**Key Responsibility & accountability**

Infection Control Program Management: You are responsible for developing, implementing, and managing an effective infection control program within the healthcare facility. This includes creating policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and developing strategies to prevent and control the spread of infections.

Surveillance and Data Collection: You are monitors and investigate healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) by conducting surveillance activities, collecting relevant data, and analyzing trends. This involves reviewing patient records, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and identifying potential outbreaks or patterns of infection.

Infection Prevention and Control Practices: You are promotes and enforce strict infection prevention and control practices within the healthcare facility. This includes educating staff and patients on hand hygiene, personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, sterilization and disinfection techniques, waste management, and safe injection practices.

Training and Education: The infection control nurse plays a vital role in training healthcare personnel on infection control measures, protocols, and best practices. This includes organizing and conducting training sessions, workshops, and seminars to raise awareness and ensure compliance with infection control guidelines.

Collaboration and Consultation: You are collaborates with various departments, such as nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, and facility management, to implement infection control measures effectively. They may also provide consultation and guidance to healthcare providers regarding infection control practices and outbreak management.

Policy Development and Review: You are participates in the development, review, and revision of infection control policies, guidelines, and protocols within the healthcare facility. This ensures that infection control practices align with national and international standards, including those provided by organizations like NABH.

Outbreak Investigation and Management: In the event of an outbreak or cluster of infections, You are leads or participates in investigations to identify the source, contributing factors, and appropriate control measures. They collaborate with relevant stakeholders, communicate findings, and implement necessary interventions to mitigate the spread of infections.

Quality Improvement Initiatives: The infection control nurse contributes to quality improvement initiatives by monitoring compliance with infection control standards, conducting audits, and recommending corrective actions. They actively participate in quality improvement committees and assist in the accreditation process of the healthcare facility.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Nursing: 1 year (preferred)
