Position Overview:
As a Finance-Funding Executive for an NGO (Non-Governmental Organization), your primary responsibility will be to manage the financial aspects of the organization's funding activities. You will play a crucial role in securing funding from various sources and ensuring that financial resources are effectively allocated to support the NGO's mission and projects. This position requires a strong understanding of finance, budgeting, grant management, and fundraising strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

- **1. Funding Strategy and Planning**:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive funding strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Identify potential funding sources, including government grants, corporate sponsorships, individual donors, and foundations.
- Conduct research and stay updated on funding trends, donor priorities, and relevant funding opportunities.

**2. Grant Management**:

- Monitor and track grant progress, including reporting requirements and financial accountability.
- Maintain accurate records of all funding received, grant proposals, and reporting documentation.
- Coordinate with program managers to ensure proper utilization of grant funds and adherence to donor requirements.

**3. Financial Management**:

- Prepare and monitor the annual budget, in consultation with the Finance Manager and Program Directors.
- Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support decision-making and resource allocation.
- Ensure financial accountability and transparency in all funding activities.
- Collaborate with the finance team to prepare financial reports, statements, and other documentation required for audits and compliance.

**4. Donor Relations**:

- Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing donors, providing regular updates on project progress and impact.
- Identify opportunities for donor stewardship and engagement to foster long-term partnerships.
- Explore new avenues for donor acquisition and diversification of funding sources.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to potential donors, highlighting the organization's achievements and impact.

**5. Collaboration and Teamwork**:

- Collaborate with the program team to understand project funding needs and align financial strategies accordingly.
- Coordinate with the Finance Manager and other finance team members to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to accounting standards.
- Participate in internal meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance financial and fundraising knowledge.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in finance, fundraising, or grant management within the nonprofit sector.
- Sound knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
- Proficiency in using financial management software and tools.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with donors and stakeholders.
- Commitment to the mission and values of the NGO.
