The role demands safe driving practices, punctuality, vehicle upkeep, and adherence to institutional and company transport policies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate heavy-duty buses on approved routes as per daily schedules.
- Ensure safe, punctual, and comfortable transportation for students, faculty, and employees.
- Conduct thorough **pre-trip and post-trip inspections** of the vehicle to ensure it is in excellent working condition.
- Maintain **trip records**, including mileage, fuel consumption, and attendance logs.
- Follow **traffic rules and transport regulations** at all times.
- Keep the vehicle **clean and well-m aintained** daily.
- Coordinate with the **Transport / Mobility Manager** for scheduling and route adjustments.
- Report mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately for corrective action.
- Assist passengers with boarding, seating, and luggage (if applicable).
- Observe safety protocols and ensure all passengers follow seatbelt and conduct rules.
- Maintain discipline and courteous behavior, especially with students and corporate staff.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Valid **Heavy Vehicle Driving License (Bus Category)**.
- Minimum **3-5 years of professional driving experience** in Bus driving.
- Proven record of **safe driving** and **zero major traffic violations**.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and understand transport schedules, routes, and instructions.
- Good communication skills and a polite, professional attitude.
- Physically fit and mentally alert for long and varied driving schedules.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

**Preferred Qualities**:

- Prior experience in **college or corporate transportation service**.
- Familiarity with **local city routes and intercity travel**. all state drivers are most welcome. Route and standard training will be provided.
- Responsible, disciplined, and punctual work ethics.
- Ability to handle minor repairs or coordinate with mechanics if required.

**Reporting To**:
Transport / Fleet / Mobility Manager

**Work Environment**:

- Driving routes covering college campuses, hostels, industrial parks, and corporate offices.
- Exposure to variable weather and traffic conditions.
- Must wear **company-issued uniform and ID badge** at all times.
