**Job Description (Direct Material)
- **Execute regional material productivity target through cost reduction plans**
- Lead Value Engineering, resourcing, yoy productivity, logistics, Total Value chain workstreams in collaboration with Commodity, Supplier Development organization to reduce cost.
- Scope: programs in series production.
- **Panel management**
- Lead new supplier addition along with Commodity and Supplier Quality Engineering team for Supplier Panel Healthiness.
- **Supplier performance management**
- Manage second level of escalation for risk on supply continuity (logistics / capacity / quality / payments) interfacing partner departments (Plant, Supply chain, Quality, Finance) and drive mitigation plan.
- Raise issues when roadblock according to escalation process
- Validates cost impact and negotiates charge-back amounts (COPQ)
- Monitor suppliers’ performance (OTTR, supply past dues, supply red alerts, Quality ) and drive structured improvement actions with partner departments.
- **Capacity management**
- Analyze suppliers’ capacity and execute mitigation plans for gap closure and/or capacity installation when RCCP team/ SCM team raises red flags (Rough Cut Capacity Planning).
- Take hand-over from NPI buyers on capacity installation (SOP+3months) with rampup plan.
- Lead Top Consultation process for mass production components for capacity increase/decrease.
- **Suppliers change and transition management.**
- Manage post-SOP Engineering changes with suppliers in relation with stakeholders
- Manage components’ end of life and obsolescence (E&O) with SCM team.

**Qualifications**:

- Sound experienced Purchasing professional (minimum 7 years) with Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent degree
- Minimum 3 years in Purchasing functions (Supplier Quality, Operations Purchase Lead, NPI Purchase Lead, Supply Chain Management)
- Proven experience in complex supplier negotiations
- Effectiveness of working in a global, multicultural environment
- Working experience with SAP (or other system) environment.
- Very well skilled with MS Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Projects (minimum Excel intermediate level)
- Ability to travel (plane, car), even within short notice
- 3rd language (on top of native tongue and English) appreciated: French or Italian
- Strong leadership skills

- Ability to communicate concisely and act in a multicultural and cross-functional environment at all levels inside and outside the company
