**Role**: As a System Administrator II VMware, you are responsible for maintaining the virtualization software of a business. Their primary role is to ensure that all components related to the virtualization process work well. You will be responsible for the upkeep, deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Windows Servers. Contributes to the planning and implementation of maintenance and installation work, including building and management of systems and components of virtualized computing environments.

**Responsibilities**:
Performing diagnostics & troubleshooting of ESX server environment.
Configuring of HA and DRS environment.
Installing and configuring VMware 6.X & Above Servers.
Upgrade ESXi host using Life Cycle Manager/PowerShell
vMotion to migrate virtual machines from one host to another host for maintenance.
Converting templates to VM installing OS updates and converting back to templates.
Deploying VMs through templates and Cloning Virtual Machines.
Creating Snapshots on VMs
Troubleshooting issues related to Virtual Machine VMotion, snapshots.
Create and Manage VMware cluster with HA and DRS.
Monitor and manage performance of ESXi servers and Virtual Machines.
Virtual center server for HA, DRS, VMotion and Storage VMotion.
Manage L2 support of Windows Servers Support team.
Responsible for Windows Servers Infrastructure management for multiple customers.
Responsible for VMware infrastructure Management.
Perform timely Patch management as per the Schedule.
Execute monthly patch management process, reports, and implementation on system infrastructure.
Domain Controller, DNS Servers, DHCP Servers, File Server.
Installing, Configuring and Hardening of Windows Servers
AD Replication monitoring and regular health checks to be performed.
Creating Group Policies and implementation as per standard procedures.
Perform Security Health Check of Windows servers and other compliance.
RAID Configurations and Disk management utilities tools.
3rd party vendor coordination for visit and troubleshooting
Perform Change Management as per the process.
Should be able to adhere to the SOW/SOP/Work Instructions/Standards.
Monitoring and Maintenance of Incident/Alarm systems.

**Qualifications**:
5+ years of technical experience in corporate IT operations in Data Center Environment
Experience with ESXi, vSphere systems administration and support including vMotion, HA, DRS, vCenter
Understanding of Cloud and on-prem environment
Operations Manager, vCenter Service Manager, vCenter Configuration Manager, Site Recovery Manager
Understanding of creation of NIC teaming, VLANs and Vswitchs and port group policies.
Experience in creation of shared data stores for multiple ESXi Servers.
Good Knowledge of ITIL processes and implementation
Demonstrated experience in process improvement.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
Always driving for continuous improvementacross domains
Experience of VMware ESX 7.0 and V sphere 7.0 would be preferable.
Strong planning and organizing capabilities.
Ability to work and lead effectively in a team and process-based environment.
Ability to build team capabilities for upcoming technologies.
Installation of VMware tools on virtual machines.
Hands on experience in upgrading ESXi Hosts upgrade 6.X to 7.X
**Certifications Preferred -**: VMware Certified Technical Associate - Data Center Virtualization
Should have experience working in Windows Servers, ESXi, VMware, Active Directory, Backup, Storage, Patching, SCCM.
Understanding of Cloud and on-prem environment
Has managed technical teams for specialized area.
Good Knowledge of ITIL processes and implementation
Demonstrated experience in process improvement.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
