Chartered Accountant/ Cost Accountant/ Company Secretary/ CPA/CMA required. 5 - 7 years of experience in Accounting/ Finance and handling similar role Or MBA from a reputed institution with 7-10 years of experience

**Position Summary**:
This role is responsible for the accuracy and integrity of all financial information for Bharuch Plant. As a critical member of the plant’s management team, Manager Finance - Plant Operations / Deputy Plant Controller is responsible for driving the financial performance of the plant and ensuring that economic rigor is applied to the decision-making process. This includes efforts to reduce invested capital, improve cash flow, and drive continuous improvement in cost and productivity. This position reports directly to Plant Manager - Bharuch Operation

**Essential Job Duties**
Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements/KPI reports for Bharuch plant in accordance with company policies and various reporting requirements

Proactively partner with plant management to ensure that all parties have a clear and accurate picture of the plants overall financial performance.

Lead the preparation of the plants’ business planning process, incorporating productivity and cost targets.

Prepare monthly rolling forecasts and provide plant and operations leadership with insight and commentary for all major variances from both plan and prior forecast

Provide financial guidance for all plant capital investments and related business case justifications.

Lead and drive plant cost reduction efforts, holding plant management team responsible for delivering annual cost reductions and productivity improvements.

Develop and maintain accurate standard cost data for the plant.

Develop necessary inventory polices and controls to ensure integrity of financial statements.

Lead annual physical inventory for the plant

Any other adhoc work comes from time to time related to finance function

**Technical Skills**

Strong variance and root cause analysis skills

Advanced Excel, Power point and SAP capabilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Exposure to visualization tools & Tech Savvy
