**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- As an administrator, you are responsible for administration and management of Sybase, PostgreSQL, Time series DB for PostgreSQL (timescale DB), MongoDB databases.**Responsibilities**:

- Manage database administration including... experience working on multiple ETL projects comprising schema check, data completeness.
- Managing large, shared MongoDB cluster - Experience with SQL coding and tuning - Must be hands-on, technically adept DBA, capable of performing required DB tasks.
- Expert level of MongoDB installation/configuration, patching, troubleshooting, performance tracking/tuning, back-up/recovery, remote monitoring skills with hands-on experience in-large and very dynamic environments.
- Experience with very complex database environments. - Experience in working controlled environment, change control, and validated systems. - Experience with MongoDB Ops Manager.
- Defines, designs, and implements cluster solutions, as well as proposes and implements system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.
- Scripting/Shell Languages (JSON preferred), Unix shell scripting - Extreme proficiency with Linux and Python
Hands on experience on Linux, DB administration, ETL/ELT processing, Datadog and science logic preferred.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Strong experience in Database Administration of Sybase ASE versions 15.x and 16.x and Replication server.
- Strong experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, deadlocks, Performance Tuning, Query Optimization.
- Ability to detect & resolve issues related to CPU, Memory, I/O disk space etc.
- Installation and configuration of Sybase ASE versions 15.x and 16.x
- Strong knowledge on Sybase ASE upgrade from 15.x to 16.x
- Well versed in different flavors of Unix.
- Ability and willingness to learn and develop new mindsets and skills
- Ability to be self-directed and collaborative in ambiguous situations
- Bring new ideas and new ways of solving problems to the team
- Competent and demonstrated experience in ITIL processes: Incident, Problem and Change Management
- Interest in learning new technologies and developing additional skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Should have ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work in different shifts including night shift for 24/7 support.
