**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Quality Assurance and Control**:

- Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols and control measures to ensure product integrity and quality.
- Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
- **Inspection and Testing**:

- Oversee the inspection of incoming materials, ensuring that they meet required quality standards.
- Supervise the routine analysis of metals, including mechanical and chemical testing.
- Ensure that all testing procedures follow established standards and specifications.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of quality tests, inspections, and outcomes.
- Prepare reports on quality control activities, findings, and improvements.
- **Compliance and Standards**:

- Ensure compliance with national and international standards (such as ISO, ASTM) relevant to steel manufacturing.
- Stay updated with industry standards, trends, and best practices in quality control.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify areas for quality control improvement and cost reduction.
- Implement new technologies or methodologies to enhance quality and efficiency.
- **Team Management and Training**:

- Supervise and train QC staff in quality control procedures and standards.
- Promote a culture of high quality and continuous improvement within the team.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance in the steel metal manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of steel properties, metallurgical processes, and manufacturing techniques.
- Familiarity with quality standards and certifications applicable to steel manufacturing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in quality control software and statistical analysis tools.
- 1-4 YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
