Medical Coder (Urgent Hiring)

Position Overview

We are urgently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Coder to join our team.

enabling seamless billing, compliance, and data analysis. This role demands expertise in medical

terminology, coding standards (ICD-10, CPT®, HCPCS), and healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Medical Record Analysis

○ Review and analyze patient medical records, including physicians’ notes, lab

reports, and treatment plans.

○ Ensure all documentation supports the assigned codes accurately.

2. Coding and Documentation

○ Assign precise medical codes using ICD-10, CPT®, and HCPCS systems.

○ Identify and document key patient information, including diagnoses, procedures,

and treatment plans.

○ Stay updated on coding guidelines, standards, and regulatory changes.

3. Billing and Claims

○ Collaborate with medical billers to ensure accurate and timely submission of

claims.

○ Resolve coding-related queries and discrepancies in billing.

4. Compliance and Auditing

○ Adhere to healthcare regulations, compliance policies, and coding standards.

○ Participate in audits to maintain coding accuracy and minimize errors.

5. Data Analysis

○ Provide reliable coding for tracking disease trends and healthcare statistics.

○ Assist in analyzing patient data for reporting and research purposes.

Qualifications and Skills
- Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, or equivalent).
- In-depth knowledge of ICD-10, CPT®, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations, billing processes, and compliance standards.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in medical terminology and understanding of healthcare documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Work Location: Mihan, Nagpur

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
