Job Description

Primary functions & responsibilities

The Associate will be primarily responsible for the following tasks:

- Provide ongoing support to Capital Solutions team for bank scorecards and capital commitment data mart to drive decision making using Ares wallet.
- Collaborate with multiple fund accounting and deal teams to collect lender fee data and capital commitments across the Ares platform using Excel templates.
- Transform and format data in Excel to conform with BRM SharePoint database.
- Upload fee and commitment data into BRM SharePoint database. Maintain and update database for new relationships and new funds.
- Prepare and enhance Excel and PowerPoint reporting from BRM SharePoint database.
- Develop PowerBi reporting from BRM SharePoint database to automate bank scorecards and capital commitment reports.
- Data extraction and analysis
- Ability to re-engineer and automate reports to create value.

Qualifications

Education:

- Finance Graduate/ MBA

Experience Required:

- Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tools a plus
- Good communication skills
- Able to coordinate and gather data/information from various teams
- assertiveness required
- Ability to build relationship and trust

- Ability to be flexible in terms of hours in order to coordinate with team members across various time zones
- Willingness to take on new projects and learn new skills
