**Title: Weblogic Admin**

**Experience: 4-6**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Installation and Configuration:

- Install, configure, and maintain WebLogic Application Server environments in various settings, including development, testing, and production.
- Performance Monitoring and Tuning:

- Monitor server performance, conduct analysis, and implement tuning strategies to optimize the efficiency and responsiveness of the WebLogic infrastructure.
- Proactively address performance bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:

- Investigate and resolve issues related to WebLogic functionality, collaborating with support and development teams.
- Provide timely and effective solutions to incidents, minimizing impact on business operations.
- Security Management:

- Implement and maintain security measures to protect the WebLogic infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, including patch management and adherence to best practices.
- Backup and Recovery:

- Develop and maintain backup and recovery procedures for WebLogic environments.
- Regularly test and validate backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity.
- Documentation:

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the WebLogic infrastructure, including configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members.
- Collaboration:

- Collaborate with other IT teams to implement cross-functional solutions.
- Patch Management:

- Stay informed about WebLogic updates, fixes, and patches.
- Plan and execute patch management activities in adherence to change management processes.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a WebLogic Application Server Administrator.
- In-depth knowledge of WebLogic architecture, installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as WLST (WebLogic Scripting Tool), Shell, or Python.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with security principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- WebLogic certifications would be a plus.
